Whilst Utmost Life and Pensions endeavours to ensure that this site is normally available 24 hours a day, we shall not be liable if for any reason this site is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access to this site may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond Utmost Life and Pensions’ control.


Utmost Life and Pensions shall not be liable for any loss of income, profits, goodwill, data, contracts or any type of special, indirect or consequential loss arising from the use, inability to use or misuse of this site or any linked sites. Utmost Life and Pensions does not warrant that this site, or the server that makes it available, are free of viruses or other harmful components.

Terms and Conditions for registration and use of MyUtmost

Before accessing MyUtmost, you must first accept these terms and you will be asked to confirm this during the Registration process.

Before accepting these terms, you should read them carefully and contact us if you do not understand any of the points.

By accepting these terms, you are bound by them.


To enable you to access MyUtmost, you must Register for the service. To register you will need to input a range of personal details, including your policy number. You must ensure that the details you input are current, relevant and accurate and you must inform us as soon as possible if any of these details change after registration.

We reserve the right to accept or not accept a registration and reject your registration request without giving a reason for doing so.

Legal action may be taken if someone, other than the policy owner, is found trying to access MyUtmost using another person’s details.

By registering for MyUtmost, you are agreeing to:

  • Receive future correspondence electronically. You will need to contact us if you need a paper copy of any of your correspondence.

Mobile Phone and Text Messages

By providing your mobile number during the registration process you are opting in to receive text messages from Utmost Life and Pensions. These text messages are only used to provide you with a one-time passcode that you will need to login to your account. Text messages are currently the only way for us provide you with the passcode, therefore, if you want to opt out of receiving text messages, you will no longer be able to access MyUtmost.

User Name and Password

When you register you will be asked to create a User Name, which will be your email address. You will also be asked to set a password.

It is your responsibility to keep your security details safe and we recommend that you:

  • Do not write the details down
  • Do not use the facility on your device that automatically remembers login details
  • Do not disclose your password to anyone else, including staff at Utmost Life and Pensions (our staff will never ask you to disclose your password)

If you think that someone knows your security details, we recommend that you:

  • Use the Change my Password facility in MyUtmost
  • You contact us to let us know someone may be able to fraudulently access your MyUtmost account

We will not be held responsible for any loss you may suffer as a result of you sharing your security details or failing to keep them safe.

Using MyUtmost

The information in your MyUtmost account is solely for you and you must not allow access to your account by a third party. You are responsible for ensuring you do not share access to your account.

To avoid third parties accessing your MyUtmost account, you should logout of the service before you leave your device. We will not be held responsible if third parties obtain access to your information or submit processing requests if you fail to logout.


You are responsible for accessing your MyUtmost account and for any instructions or information provided to us through your account. We will treat instructions and information as genuine and act on them unless you contact us at the earliest opportunity to notify us your account could have been accessed fraudulently.

You logging in with your user name and password, verifies you as the policyholder.

We will endeavour to complete your instructions correctly but it is your responsibility to check that the end result is what you would expect and to let us know if it is not in line with your expectations.

Availability of MyUtmost

You should be able to access MyUtmost seven days a week, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available. It may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled system updates
  • Unexpected system issues
  • Us identifying that an unauthorised person is trying to access your account.

We will endeavour to restore access as soon as we can.

Information will continue to be available in your MyUtmost account up to three months after your last policy in scope of MyUtmost service is terminated.

Leaving MyUtmost

You, or your appointed legal representative, may request your MyUtmost account be removed at any time. Any valid instructions received through MyUtmost will be completed before your account is removed.

Terms and Conditions for uses of both sites

Computer misuse

When using these sites, you must not:

  • Knowingly introduce computer viruses or any other material that is technologically harmful
  • Try to gain unauthorised access the sites, or the server on which the sites are stored

If you do carry out these actions you would be committing a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990 and we will report the offence to the relevant authority and remove your access immediately.

Any content contained in these sites, is for information purposes only and does not constitute financial advice.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions, without notice, and this page will be updated when this happens. To ensure that you keep up to date, we recommend that you regularly check back on this page.
