High Court sanctions Equitable schemes

On 4 December 2019 Mr. Justice Zacaroli sanctioned both the Equitable scheme of arrangement, and the scheme transferring the business to Utmost, with both to be effective from 1st January 2020.

The next communication to Equitable Life policyholders will be from Utmost Life and Pensions and will confirm, where relevant, the exact amount of their policy uplift and their investment choice. Equitable Life policyholders should continue to contact the customer service team in Aylesbury with all their questions or requirements. This applies both up to the effective date, and equally once the transfer has been implemented.
