Further information for partial matches

You have been directed to this webpage as you have logged on to the Pensions Dashboard and they have advised that you may have a policy with us.

It is also possible that you do not have a policy with us but here are a number of reasons why your details may not completely match with our records, or be correct.

  • You may have changed your address and forgotten to let us know.
  • You may have married or divorced and forgotten to tell us your new surname.
  • The date of birth could be wrong on our records.
  • You didn’t put in your National Insurance Number when you registered for the Dashboard, which was optional but inputting this will increase your chances of getting a match.
  • Your policy was transferred form an employer’s pension scheme without your complete personal information

To enable us to check whether you have a policy with us, please can you email us at dashboard.queries@utmost.co.uk and provide the following:

  • Full name
  • Previous names
  • Date of birth
  • Current address and last two addresses
  • National Insurance Number - you should be able to find this on a payslip or any documents you have received from HMRC
  • Copies of any pension policy documentation or letters you have found that were from Equitable Life, Reliance Life of any of the companies that have been acquired. Click here to see a list of the companies that Utmost Life and Pensions have acquired over the years.

Please note that if we are able to match you to a policy on our records, we may need to ask you for further evidence of identity before we are able to update our records.

Please note that the Dashboard will not show details of any annuities in payment or income drawdown policies.
